When the United States implodes – not if, but when, and soon – then what? When the rule of law is extinct, will it be just a free-for-all among thugs? When the first and only government designed to serve people versus rule people has been overtaken in a coup, will the unalienable right to liberty from the Creator be in practice but a footnote in history?
When the British Empire slipped into impotence at the beginning of the Second World War, the USA was there to fill the resulting void. When the Soviet Union finally imploded, collapsing on itself, again America still stood able to give pause to thugs and tyrants around the globe. Anyone who believes that the United Nations is or can be a serious player in affecting stability is delusional at best.
The American birthrate in 2013 is the lowest in its history. Despite significant gains in population over the last four decades, the American workforce is smaller today than it was in 1971. Workforce participation among those age 18-24 is today the lowest on record. In 2009 as Government grew and the private sector shrank, those laid off were encouraged to remain unemployed by government checks coming for more than 100 weeks, then encouraged further by loosening standards for qualifying for Social Security disability benefits. The numbers on SSI are at all-time high . . . by far.
More than 100 million Americans today receive U.S. Government food subsidies, and the Department of Health & Human Services is advertising on radio and tv for even more new clients, that while DHS rules to implement the ACA (also known as “Obamacare”) encourage employers to either reduce their numbers of workers or reduce their hours or both. The whole concept of career is disappearing from the American landscape. The numbers crossing our border with Mexico have flipped, now with more crossing southbound than northbound.
So, again I ask, what will the world look like? How will it function?
